Welcome to Class 2EB

In Year 2, our teacher is Mrs Brown and our teaching assistant is Miss West.

We love learning in Year 2 and we are a kind and friendly class who work as a great team!

We enjoy reading stories and finding information in books - the reading tent is a favourite place to find people!

We use lots of helpful resources in the classroom to support our learning, such as Numicon in Maths. We use picture strips to help us learn and retell stories in English and we enjoy using the learning Lego to help us create characters and tell stories too.

In the Summer we are able to do lots of our learning outdoors, either on our decking space or in the school woodland, which we really enjoy.

Our topic work is varied and always has a focus subject. This year it includes going on a Dinosaur Dig, enjoying the carnival spirit in Brazil and learning about animals in our Deadly 60 topic! For more information on this, please see the long term plan.

Spring 2. Rio de Vida Samba fun!
